You may have heard of CoQ10, or Coenzyme Q10, but what exactly is it, and what are the benefits when it comes to our skin?
CoQ10 is a compound that helps generate energy in your body's cells. It is made by your body and stored in the mitochondria of your cells. The mitochondria are in charge of producing energy, as well as protecting cells from oxidative damage and disease-causing bacteria or viruses.
